What to Do and Where To Go This Weekend

Living in KL surrounded with all the concrete jungle sometimes I am clueless on where to spend the weekend. National Zoo, Bird Park, Museum, Aquaria, watching movies, its like wearing off on me already. I need some new place where can give me new refreshment on spending the weekend. So I did a little research on some of the interesting place that worth to try nearby KL area.

1. Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, Kuala Gandah, Pahang
This is the home of homeless elephant, just 45 minutes drives from Kuala Lumpur. The fun part of this place is there is no entrance fee if you go by yourself (No tour agent), but you are most welcome to donate if you want as this elephant is in need of milk and so on. Visit (here) for more information on how to go to this place.

2. Batu Arang, Selangor
This former coal mining town is situated in North Selangor. There are one big goats farm here where you can see how milking process happened, how goat cheese is produce and so on. You can also stay overnight in this goats farm as they have guest house available for rent. Here is the address for more detail.

Sheeptrade Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd
Pusat Ternakan Haiwan (Rusa)
R4 Jalan Ladang Caledonia
48100 Batu Arang, Selangor
Tel: 00-603-6035 2808

These are the only two that I find interesting. Maybe you can suggest to me other places that I never heard off?
