'Onus', it's A Big Word

Just Imagine if you did a typo error and change O to A, must be hilarious sentence.

I'm reading some contract today and came across this word - "ONUS", it sounds like 'you-know-what'.

So the definition:

–noun, plural o·nus·es.

1.

a difficult or disagreeable obligation, task, burden, etc.

2.

burden of proof. 

3.

blame or responsibility.

Note: Important word!

Australia Junior Master Chef Rock!

I am officially in love with Starworld new program Australia Junior Master Chef! They are totally amazing! Just imagine children from age 8 - 12 years old cooking like hotel style. Some dishes that they cook is so sophisticated that I cant even pronounce let alone cook it.

My Zodiac has changed!

I am Libra. I will always be a Libra in my heart and it suits me so perfectly. But today I read on Yahoo News that all these zodiac going haywire and it change for most of people ! (check here). It is not only that  the gravitational force of the Moon has managed to tilt the planet’s axis a bit since the Babylonians determined the dates of the Zodiac five thousand years ago but they also found out that now instead of 12 we have 13 zodiacs! The latest one is Ophiuchus.

Now the zodiac should be:

They are also likely to hide or bend their own true feelings in order to bring peace with a group and to make others like them. Sometime this results in them not really knowing what their true feelings are because they are trying to make everyone happy. Other people can see this and Libras have earned themselves a reputation for being indecisive, they simply do not want to hurt anyone's feelings or cause disorder or friction in a situation. This spills over inside the person and many times, Libras have difficulty making decisions. Inside, the Libra is very insecure, they suffer from a lack of self confidence, they are always searching for something to complete them. Libra's indecisiveness is caused by fear, their fear that a wrong decision will make everything come crashing down around them and cause turmoil in their lives. Life is not like that and the Libra that acknowledges the fact that life has ups and downs will be less emotionally wound up, not so hard on themselves and as a result, they will be a much happier person.

Whatever it is, I am a Libra at heart.

I had steamy chicken rice today for lunch, now I'm suffering from Eating-Too-Much-And-Now-I'm-Sleepy syndrome. So, to avoid from drooling on my table, I did a fun search on the net on what happened on the date itself.

11th January 1935 - Amelia Earhart began her solo flight trip across the Pacific Ocean today. She was the first person to fly across this water. The trip passed Honolulu, Hawaii and then to California. If you remember, she is the character in Night in the Museum 2 - the Battle of Smithsonian.

11th January 1958 - The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley released his single Jail House Rock today.

11th January 1878 - Milk delivered in bottle first time today.

If I Were the Green Hornet

I wrote about this movie in Upcoming movie in January 2011 last month. Now I am going to go into detail about this most anticipated movie, so bear with my rants a little while people! (Actually Nuffnang do a give away for this movie ticket).

If I were the Green Hornet, I will use my advantage which is in this case owning the vast media empire to fight crime regardless of how big or small the crime is. Big crime started from small crime so both shouldn't be taken lightly. But before that I already listed down a few things on how to materialize my plan.

1. I will fire Jay Chou and take another guy to be Kato, I know they want to maintain the I-Am-A-Hot-Nerd personae, but Jay Chou as a martial art experts??

2.I will use my media connection to re-plan the use of text book in school, my daughter just started school, and the amount of text book that she got is double her body weight.

3.I create new rules on media freedom, I know we love to speak our mind, but distasteful reviews cost more harm than good, some generate crimes by suggesting racial misunderstanding, jealousy and fights. So it is important for media to understand that there are certain things that shouldn't be viewed to public or maybe control it.

4.I give away free coupons to poor people. It does make a different. I build free diners for homeless people, beggars and poor folks too.

Lastly when all these things are materialize, then I will think on how to fight crimes.
